The practice of wagering virtual in-game items ( skin betting ) from popular games such as CS:GO and FIFA is legally defined as gambling, the Norwegian Gambling Authority has noted in a public communication, warning operators will face tough sanctions if they offer these services.

Latest UK Gambling Commission statistics indicate growth in mobile use since last year has been 10 percent.
UK gamblers are increasingly turning to mobile devices for their action, according to the latest UK Gambling Commission figures, which indicate that year-on-year growth in mobile device gambling has been 10 percent, bringing the proportion of gambling carried out on mobile devices to 43 percent.
