GVC EXTENDS LEAP GAMING AGREEMENT
09th March, 2017 at 08:36:08
More virtual sports for GVC online gambling sites.
Online gambling group GVC Holdings has confirmed that it has extended its virtual sports content deal with Leap Gaming, building on the content for its operational sites, which include Bwin Casino and Party Casino.
The contract extension includes Leap's current scheduled racing events, along with the latest innovations from the company such as In-Play Tennis, Football and Instant (on-demand) virtual events.
In-play has been much anticipated as "the next big thing" in virtual sports, a statement from GVC explained Wednesday.
It adds an additional layer of realism and excitement to the virtual product genre by replicating a feature that has become the most popular category of wagers in real life sports betting. The Instant (on-demand) virtual event product allows bettors to generate their own exclusive virtual sport events schedule and place bets on-the-go, eliminating wait time.
Liron Snir, chief product officer at GVC Holdings, said: "In-play is a critical feature for real-life sports betting, and we have every confidence that it will be a popular element in virtuals, while on-demand is another great innovation that will enable our users to define their own event schedule."
Yariv Lissauer, CEO of Leap Gaming, said that his company is committed to innovating in the virtual sports vertical".
