DUTCH ONLINE GAMBLING BILL TO BE DISCUSSED IN THE SENATE NEXT WEEK
02nd March, 2017 at 09:50:51
Senate Permanent Committee for Security and Justice to discuss Remote Gaming Bill passed by the lower house last year.
Progress - of a kind - appears to be imminent at last on the much-delayed Dutch online gambling legalisation bill passed in July last year by the lower house.
Parliament has advised that the Senate Permanent Committee for Security and Justice will examine and discuss the legislation on March 7, along with a bill concerning the privatisation of the state's land gambling enterprises under the Holland Casino brand.
Lower House elections start March 15, which means that time is of the essence if passage in this session is to be accomplished.
