Las Vegas land casinos suffer business declines.

The Nevada Gaming Control Board said Thursday that the state's land casino revenues were down 1.5% year-on-year in November, reaching $930 million.

The decline was chiefly noticed in the Las Vegas casino business, where Las Vegas Strip revenue was down 3.5% year-over-year, to $517 million, and Downtown Las Vegas winnings fell 5.5% to $51 million.

Reno casino revenue was up almost 3% to $46 million, whilst South Lake Tahoe revenue also jumped 12.5% to $16 million.

The state collected $56 million in tax money based off the November winnings, which is down 3.5% from the same time last year.
