Intertain relaunches veteran online casino on its proprietary platform.

Canadian online gambling operator Intertain Group Ltd. has announced the relaunch of its InterCasino online gambling website on the company's proprietary Plain Gaming platform.

The online gaming platform is considered to be the growth engine behind Vera&John, an online casino operated by Intertain.

The Plain Gaming platform currently features more than 1,000 casino games for desktop and over 400 mobile casino titles, developed by over 30 different providers.

More than a half the revenue generated by the platform at present comes from mobile gaming.

Irina Cornides, Intertain Bahamas chief revenue officer, said in a statement that the new gaming platform would be an important part of Intertain's growth strategy and the company's ability to harness the benefits from InterCasino and the brand's equity.

By adopting its own platform the company will reduce costs arising from payments to third parties, the statement explained.

Plain Gaming is wholly owned by the online gambling company and runs a number of online casino brands, including Finlandia Casino.
