Pinnacle launches in iOS format first, but Android is on the way.

Online sportsbetting operator Pinnacle Sports has announced the launch of its first native mobile app for iPhone, initially available to punters in selected markets, with an Android version coming soon.

A statement from the company advises that the app is Pinnacle Sports' first foray into the native app space and signals the beginning of a mobile upgrade year for the bookmaker. The app offers six of Pinnacle's most popular markets including soccer, basketball, ice hockey, American football, baseball and tennis.

Developed in-house and designed by Pinnacle Sports' newly created Product R&D team, the App allows customers to quickly find the best bet at the best price on their favourite sports market. It offers users the ability to see recent odds changes visualised in a chart, and easily set alerts to be notified when the odds are right for them.

Pinnacle's chief operating officer, Elijah Pollock, said in the company statement:

"The new Pinnacle Lite app is a mobile-first version of our full web sportsbook. This product demonstrates our intent to leverage new mobile technologies to give customers modern betting experiences whilst maintaining the odds and high stakes Pinnacle Sports is known for".
