online casino has launched a new and innovative competitive tournaments promo titled Winter Games and focusing on social interaction between its players, supported by the company's television advertising.
The competition features Reel Races - fast-paced, non-game specific casino tournaments with "points boosters" in which the aim is to spin to collect as many points as possible by winning lines.
In addition to the points players get from regular wins, there are also "boosters" which are activated in three different ways: winning three times in a row, collecting a total of three Big Wins or getting a Mega Win.
Reel Races run every 30 minutes throughout December and last for 20 minutes, with the top five players on the leaderboard of each tournament winning prizes.
Each evening, the main event has a top prize of Euro 1,000/£1,000 with the top 25 players also receiving prizes.
Mark Busuttil said the idea is to connect and engage with customers in fresh and interesting ways that generate fun and excitement.
"It's going to be interesting to see what strategies players use to try to stay at the top of the leader boards," he said. "The boosters are huge game changers, making the entire experience more engaging and immersive."
The Reel Race concept is a further development of the successful Casino Challenges that were introduced by Casumo earlier this year, Busuttil says, and the plan is continue evolving the concept with more fresh ideas in the future.
