Early indications are that new iOS app has boosted Pala online casino business by 25 percent.

In just 10 days following its launch a new iOS online casino app from Pala Interactive has boosted the action at the company's New Jersey online casino by 25 percent...all without any meaningful marketing, CEO Jim Ryan claimed this week, adding that a promotional campaign has now been activated.

The app was launched just after Labor Day, and Ryan is convinced that getting it into the Apple Store has boosted its credibility. The company has also updated its Android app, reducing it to a 30 MB download.

Ryan says that by the end of September the iOS app will boast 84 quality games including slots, video poker and traditional table games like blackjack and roulette.

He believes that mobile channels will increasingly be preferred by online punters, and predicts that over the next year at least 50 to 60% of his company's revenues will come from the smartphone environment.
