BORGATA ONLINE OPERATIONS IN NEW JERSEY PERFORMING WELL
26th July, 2015 at 07:56:02
Fourth consecutive quarter of profitability.
The Q2-2015 results just released by US gambling group Boyd Gaming are of particular interest to the online gambling community, showing that its fifty% interest in online gambling via the Borgata in New Jersey has again generated positive results.
The operation was responsible for $1.6 million of Boyd's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation in the second quarter, its fourth consecutive profitable quarter.
However, the number is lower than that achieved in Q4-2014, when $1.8 million was generated.
On an H1 basis, online activity has brought in $2.7 million in 2015 for the company thus far.
