DUTCH AND ISLE OF MAN REGULATORS TO COLLABORATE
09th May, 2015 at 14:15:31
Letter of Intent signed by regulators.
The chiefs of the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission and the Dutch Games of Chance Authority (Kansspelautoriteit or "KSA") have signed a Letter of Intent developing a cooperative agreement between the two regulatory bodies.
The agreement covers elements such as cross-border supervision, exchanges of data, consumer protection and measures designed to streamline and reciprocate the licence granting process for cross-border operators.
It prepares the ground for the legalisation of online gambling in the Netherlands - hopefully later this year - by working closely with the well-established and experienced Isle of Man body.
