Revenues up 27% in fiscal first half.
The online gambling operations of Sky Betting and Gaming reported revenues that rose 27% to £ 84 million in the first half of its fiscal year ended December 31, posted this week.
Player numbers at the company's Sky Vegas casino, Sky bingo and Sky poker sites surged 15 percent, and the company reported operating profits up 25% to £25 million.
Management attributed the positive performance to efficient mobile apps and a revamp of the Sky Poker software, a trend that it expects will continue with the adaptation of the company's new HTML5 software to tablet use.
