THREE DELAWARE ONLINE GAMBLING SITES IN SOFT LAUNCH
08th November, 2013 at 00:33:51
Delaware Lottery soft launches with invited players, but the main action begins today.
Right on schedule, the state of Delaware will open its legalised online gambling activity today (Friday November 8) after a brief soft launch earlier this week using 888 software and involving invited players (see previous reports).
Online poker and casino games powered by 888 are offered at three Delaware Lottery websites; Harrington, Delaware Park and Dover Downs. Twenty casino games are initially available, including Jacks or Better video poker, four roulette games, two blackjack games and 13 slot titles.
In previewing the online poker, the US Poker information site says that players will find the rake, at 5 percent, rather larger than they may be used to. The site attributes this to the higher tax that Delaware operators are required to pay.
The site gives full details of cash games, sit and goes and multi-table tournaments.
Future games are likely to include Omaha High/Low, Seven Card Stud and Seven Card Stud High/Low.
