22nd October, 2013 at 14:45:59
Provision of poker platform, casino content and poker services
The recently New Jersey-licenced Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino (Golden Nugget) has selected Amaya Gaming Group as the technology provider for its Golden Nugget Poker and Golden Nugget Casino brands.
Under the terms of the agreement, Amaya will provide a poker platform, casino content and poker services to the Golden Nugget for a share in the revenue generated by the brands.
"We intend to be a preferred early stage operator of real money online gaming as regulation progresses in the United States, initially in New Jersey and Nevada. To thrive in this market, we need to deliver a best-in-class online and mobile player experience," said Thomas Winter, Vice President Online Gaming of Landry's, Inc., which operates Golden Nugget.
"Amaya provides proven online casino games
and a poker platform that deliver precisely what we need. Through this partnership we can supply exceptional and secure online entertainment, supported by the strong brand of our land-based casinos."
"We're extremely pleased to be the selected partner for Golden Nugget's venture into the emerging online gaming market in the United States," said David Baazov, CEO of Amaya Gaming Group. "This deal expands our existing partnership with Golden Nugget through the addition of our casino product to their poker offering, a result of both the quality of our offering and our strategic partnerships with both Bally and SHFL."
