Patsy Pirozzi agrees racketeering conspiracy charge in New Jersey court.
Another defendant from the federal bust of the Legends sports betting ring has pleaded guilty in a New Jersey court to participating in an illegal online gambling ring and racketeering.
Patsy Pirozzi of Suffern, New York, pleaded guilty Monday, and agreed to forfeit about $31,000 as part of his plea.
The USA attorney's office alleges that Pirozzi and others ran the illegal sports gambling business in New Jersey and elsewhere between 2008 and 2012 using a website based in Costa Rica. More than a dozen people were arrested last year.
