10th September, 2013 at 18:21:15
Pending regulatory hearing
Bubble Group BV trading as gaming developer Sheriff Gaming has had its Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) licence suspended pending a regulatory hearing.
The AGCC investigation was prompted following a large scale investigation into the three successful young millionaires behind the company by the Dutch Prosecuting Authority, Kansspelauthoriteit Gaming Commission and Dutch Tax Authority at the end of May 2013 (see previous report).
Michel Gregoire (32), Maurice Gregoire (34) and Stijn Flapper (34) were under investigation for their alleged involvement in the operation of seven online gambling websites
named as Casino Amsterdam, Amsterdams Poker, Fruit Luck, Tanzoo, Jackpot Red, Triple Gold, Golden Ten, and Tanzoo at the time.
Sheriff Gaming is required to suspend its operations immediately until the AGCC's suspension notice is cancelled following the outcome of a hearing scheduled for October 29, 2013 at the Royal Automobile Club in London.
