CLUB WORLD GROUP TO CLOSE CLUB UK CASINO?
19th August, 2013 at 02:20:44
From this month sterling-based online casino will no longer be accepting new registrations.
Group's online casino Club UK may be heading for closure according to sources monitored at azonlinecasinos.com
The online gambling group has advised affiliates that effective this (August) month it will no longer accept new registrations for Club UK, although it will continue to service existing players.
"If you are a new UK player and would like to play at this Club World Group brand then you can sign up to either Club USA (playing in USD) or Club Euro (playing in Euros)," new players trying to register have been advised.
Affiliates have been told:
"We have taken the decision to stop new registrations in Club UK (£), ClubUK will still be available to play in, but registration will be closed. Management has come to this decision due to a few reasons. The main reason being that based on our research, we have found that the vast majority of UK and Euro Zone players sign up in dollars and not their home currency."
Detailed information on the Club World brands is available on the list of online casinos
here at AZOC. The group uses RTG software on it's flagship brands with RTG's derivative Nuworks software making an appearance on Buzzluck
, a recent Club World acquisition.
The move was announced shortly after the UK set a schedule for licensing and regulating casinos* that wished to take UK players. * Update
: The UKGC changes came into effect in late 2014. AZOC now has a full list of UK-licenced casinos
with new licencees added as they become available.
