CasinoEuro player claims the latest Mega Fortune millions....and it's not her first big win.
The Euro 3.7million Mega Fortune jackpot win reported yesterday (see previous report) has been claimed by CasinoEuro, which late Friday informed players about the remarkable circumstances surrounding the big win.
According to the casino, the big jackpot was won by a Dutch woman....and is the second such windfall she has scored online. In May this year, again at CasinoEuro, the 44-year-old bagged a Euro 3.3 million jackpot with a Euro 5 bet on the Arabian Nights slot.
Wins like this are a once-in-a-lifetime sort of event, but clearly not for this exceptionally fortunate online player.
The CasinoEuro statement relates that the big winner took a break from playing last week, and the casino offered her an incentive Euro 10 bonus to bring her back to the action.
She returned, played Mega Fortune for 15 minutes with a Euro 50 stake and added another Euro 3.7 million to her already substantial bank balance.
That's two multi-million Euro jackpots in a 3 month period for a total of Euro 7.1 million.
Sam Brown, the manager at CasinoEuro, congratulated the player and said: "One loyal customer winning two jackpots of such significant size is truly amazing. We are delighted that CasinoEuro.com could be home to such a momentous slice of casino history!"
Per Eriksson, president and CEO of Net Entertainment - the developers of Mega Fortune, said: Net Entertainment's Progressive slots continue to make millionaires all over Europe and we'd like to pass on our congratulations to the latest CasinoEuro winner. This latest jackpot underlines the lucrative nature of casino games and enhances our reputation in the gaming industry."
The player's reaction has not yet been recorded.
The Mega Fortune progressive holds the world record for biggest ever online slot jackpot - a Euro 17.8 million monster that hit in January 2013.
Since then there have been several major wins on the game, including a Euro 5.3 million jackpot to a winner playing at the online operator BetVictor Casino
over the last Bank Holiday weekend.
Another NetEnt progressive, Hall of Gods, delivered a Swedish win of Euro 6.7 million last April (see previous reports).
