State politician wants a legislative committee to look into online gambling

Louisiana state Rep. Mike Huval has filed a resolution asking that a House legislative committee look into the pros and cons of regulated and licensed intrastate online gambling when the body next convenes in April.

Prince Edward Island Finance Minister says province has already lost out on millions of dollars in tax and licensing revenue.

The Finance Minister for the Canadian provincial government of Prince Edward Island (PEI), Wes Sheridan, told the local Guardian newspaper this week that efforts to push ahead with an online gambling regulatory and licensing system have stalled, and that the provincial government has lost out on millions in tax and licensing revenues as a consequence.

22 UK football clubs asked for information on possible breaches of betting regulations

The UK Football Association and the Gambling Commission's Sports Betting Intelligence Unit are jointly investigating reportedly suspicious betting patterns in the Blue Square Bet South division, and have contacted 22 football clubs requesting cooperation.
