FRENCH OPERATOR TARGETS BRIT INTERNET SPORTS BETTING MARKET

Groupe Partouche partners with France Pari's B2B Sportnco subsidiary and TVCatchup
There's more competition in the UK in-play sports betting sector this week following the launch of the French gambling group Partouche's new Brit-targeted website.
Powered by Sportnco, a B2B subsidiary of France Pari (see previous reports), the Malta-licensed site has a deal in place with TVCatchup which will facilitate live betting during the online TV-streaming service's live sport coverage. TVCatchup subsidiary catchmybet.com provides punters with a sports book, too.
The new site offers betting on 1,000 sporting events each week
Partouche Groupe's interactive subsidiary has had a less than salubrious 2012, reporting a 10.1% slide in revenues that prompted some soul-searching and cost-cutting, although the parent group has confirmed that it will continue to invest in its interactive operations.
