New games in development based on well-known DC Comics characters

Canadian gaming firm Amaya Gaming Group Inc. has extended its agreement with Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) acting on behalf of DC Entertainment.

Amaya will remain the exclusive provider of DC Comics-inspired pay-to-play online casino games that include popular super-hero themes such as Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Superman, and The Flash.

The Group said it is planning the development of new 3D games for distribution over Desktop computers and mobile devices utilising super hero brand power on the back of the renewal.

It will also develop games based on the Justice League, Supergirl and the DC Gotham Girls comprising Batgirl, Catwoman, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy, as well as on DC Comic villains Bane, The Joker and Lex Luthor.

We are excited that the DC Comics comic book design will continue to be part of our pay-to-play online product development plan, said Alain Brosseau, director of product strategy for Amaya.

Our branded games have proven to be highly popular with Internet gaming operators and their players. They attract a wide demographic of consumers and are particularly well-suited to engage people, with previously only a modest interest, in online casino gaming. The stunning graphics, animation and sound, increase the player's enjoyment of these games.
