December 3rd a red letter day for Italian players as regulator permits online slots
Two companies have been quick to react to the opening of the Italian market to slots players for real money play today.
Greentube-owned Star Vegas casino
has released a small selection of 5 premium Novomatic
slots to Italian players including Book Of Ra and Lucky Lady's Charms. To comply with Italian law, the reels do not spin but are revealed like playing cards. As such, the games are suffixed to indicate the difference.
Swedish online gambling software and games developer Net Entertainment has also been quick to celebrate today's (December 3rd) further opening of the Italian market as regulator AAMS gives the green light for online slot action.
The company has launched several of its high performing slot games with the majority of its current Italian licensee partners. Frequent releases of new slot games for the Italian market are scheduled to be deployed during 2013, said NetEnt chief exec Per Eriksson.
