Four arrested in North Jersey following two illegal gambling sting operations

On Friday North Jersey county prosecutors announced the arrest of four men in connection with two sting operations monitoring illegal gambling activity at two internet cafe locations.

Chester Ward (39), Gary Roach (55), Jason R. Bolsch (39) and Jeffrey T. Spencer (23) were all arrested on charges related to promoting gambling, said Morris County Prosecutor Robert A. Bianchi, revealing that a joint undercover enforcement operation had resulted in the seizure of more than $60,000 in cash, various electronics valued at over $100,000 and other items used to operate illegal businesses.

On Thursday afternoon law officers simultaneously raided two Connections Cafes in the county after undercover law enforcement officers were used to infiltrate both establishments and identify alleged illegal activity taking place.
