Four top games in first phase of agreement with Loto-Quebec
The US land and online gambling content developer, International Game Technology, has inked a games supply deal with Loto-Quebec for use on its Montreal-based online casino EspaceJeux.com.
There will be four games in the first phase, all launched before the end of the year and including Cleopatra, Wheel of Fortune - Hollywood Edition, Monopoly with Pass Go Bonus and Clue.
"The addition of Loto-Quebec as an interactive business-to-business partner is further proof of our commitment to the North American online and mobile market," said Robert Melendres, IGT executive vice president, Emerging Businesses.
"Convergence is crucial to the future of North American casino gaming and IGT is in the best position to provide the many options operators such as Loto-Quebec are looking for as they expand their operations."
The second phase of the supply deal will integrate the IGT Casino remote game server (RGS), which will allow for another 16 IGT online games, localised in Canadian French, to be available on EspaceJeux.com. Upon completion of this integration, they also will have access to the full IGT game library of titles including player favorites such as Da Vinci Di amonds, Siberian Storm and Fire Opals.
The IGT Casino RGS games will be served from a new IGT datacenter in Kamloops, British Columbia.
Further RGS releases will see more than 30 casino-style games available by the end of 2012, including several IGT Video Poker titles. All games supplied will be available in English and Canadian French.
