New 'adult' rating covers gambling apps 'as permitted by law'.

Mobile communications giant Blackberry-RIM may be considering making online apps available for gambling, according to a speculative piece in the publication Slashdot this week.

The cause for the speculation is a new rating system added to RIM's BlackBerry App World store covering: 'graphic sexual content, graphic nudity,' 'graphic violence,' and gambling apps 'as permitted by law.'

That suggests that RIM may be about to allow this kind of content on App World.
