Konami using mobile technology to further land casino objectives
Top US land gambling technology supplier Konami is leveraging the mobile communications field to provide its latest KCMS Patron product, partnering with mobile and social gaming outfit Joingo to do so.
The new product is an app designed to give primarily land casino patrons mobile access to promotional offers and loyalty incentives. It enables operators to immediately deploy their own branded Android, iPhone, Blackberry, and Mobile Web Apps, making possible the opportunity to engage with punters more often, while offering players current offers and up-to-date information.
Konami and Joingo share many of the same objectives, both providing technology that empowers casino operators to implement innovative marketing campaigns and drive business forward. KCMS and the Patron App work together to propel a casino's overall loyalty and social media strategy, Joingo chief exec Steve Boyle explained this week.
The app will allow players to view all aspects of their loyalty program, such as real-time loyalty club status, point totals, promotional free play credits, points-to-play balance, as well as the current KCMS Floorwide Progressive Bonusing jackpot values.
Players can access a list of their available comps and offers that can be redeemed on the spot by playing specialised promotional games through their mobile phones, and can even enjoy self-service options like ordering drinks, requesting their cars from the valet, searching and locating their favorite machines, and signing up for a players club card whilst on the premises. Players can also view property amenities such as restaurants and hotel rooms, view menus, make reservations and obtain showroom schedules.
