Sportingbet founder Mark Blandford has a major slice of Win United

Two online gambling websites in the Win United stable, a group in which Sportingbet founder and respected industry exec Mark Blandford has a substantial interest, are to receive software from Chartwell Technology in an agreement signed this week.

The multiyear agreement enables Win United's sites YouWin and Sportsbook to deploy Chartwell table games, card games and live dealer content with no downtime via the Canadian provider's rapid game deployment technology.

YouWin is the new brand of Win United. The aim is to compete with the top European brands via sports product diversity and competitive pricing.

"We are delighted to be associated with Chartwell. Strategically, their casino games portfolio fits our business model very well. They understood our needs and worked tirelessly with us to deliver the integration in a robust and timely fashion. We look forward to a long and prosperous business partnership with them," said John Overett, chief executive officer.

The YouWin website is the latest brand for the Win United website. Mark Blandford, founder of the SportingBet website, has acquired the major shareholding and rebranded YouWin as part of his gaming portfolio through Valhalla Investments. The new brand is well placed to deliver and manage white-label projects and has long-term ambitions to compete with the major European brands in on-line gaming, a spokesman said.
