Edict eGaming soft-launches its Stake7 online casino and poker platform
readers will recall our recent report from ICEi flagging the burgeoning online gambling software activities of the Hamburg, Germany-based developer Edict eGaming.
This has now been followed by the soft launch of the company's impressive new Stake7.com no-download casino and poker platform, which carries Isle of Man licensing and includes 12 slots, 3 table games, 1 American Roulette game and a miscellany of Lotto, Las Vegas Poker, Classic Bingo and Magic Roulette offerings.
Edict is feeling out the markets at present, offering real-money action to UK punters, but having to adopt a more restricted 'test' posture in more legally troublesome markets like Slovakia, Austria and Germany.
Nevertheless, the company's new Stake7.com website showcases an impressive range of quality offerings that will be welcomed by players seeking something new and different.
Edict has set up an office on the Isle of Man under the local title Edict eGaming IOM Limited, and just last month reported that it had secured the jurisdiction's respected licensing. At that time the company promised 'maximum transparency into all game and financial transactions - giving you insight into every move and the result of every game.'
The new platform is the result of two-and-a-half-years of development work, and incorporates a range of game offerings that can be individually adapted according to customer requirements, along with a comprehensive back-end.
"The development benchmark was the latest technologies as well as current knowledge in the field of player protection, money laundering, age verification, payment and transaction security", said Edict managing director for development, Bernd von Ohlen.
Mark Dieckmann, managing director for marketing at Edict, says the company is now actively marketing Stake7.com as a b2b product.Editors Note
: I hope Edict take their licensing obligations seriously and don't follow down the path of Rival, RTG and Top Game whose lack of diligence has tarnished their reputations in the marketplace. The reason that Microgaming and Wagerworks (IGT) software products are so highly regarded is not just down to the games but also the trust that the playing public have in their licencees.
