New Microgaming casino launches with PC & mobile offering

NB: For a complete run-down of established and new Micgrogaming casinos, check out AZOC's complete list of Microgaming casinos which includes new additions as they launch.

An updated version of this article is now available here: New Casinos 2013

The first new Microgaming casino penned for a 2013 launch, Lucky 247, actually opened it's doors at the end of 2012. Licenced in Malta and operated by Play Central Ltd, the new product offers a combination of popular Microgaming casino games for PC & Mac alongside Microgaming's new GO mobile product compatible with iPads, iPhones and Android devices.

Mid-2013 saw a relaunch of Digimedia''s Europe Palace casino which has pretty much flown under the radar since 2010. It now consists of Microgaming download and 'Instant Play' casinos with separate Live dealer offering plus a Microgaming-powered mobile casino creating a comprehensive product, now operated by the well-regarded Fortune Lounge group.

November 2013 saw the launch of another new dedicated Microgaming casino, Major Tom which is in a similar vein but carries both the download and Instant Play version of Microgaming's software.

The year also saw a number of operators integrate Microgaming games via the Quickfire "Instant Play" platform. A few of these developed huge games offerings and build decent reputations, most notably Tropezia Palace, the intriguingly named Guts plus the very popular Redbet and TV-advertised BGO operations.

Unlike Major Tom, Lucky247's dedicated Microgaming casino is entirely based on the Instant Play product, containing some 300 games and including many of their popular slot games, a large selection of table games and several variants of video poker. These games include Multi-hand Blackjack, Atlantic City Blackjack, several variations of Roulette and Baccarat 1-100 among others. Within the slots suite, players will find the Dark Knight slot, Playboy, Tombraider and Microgaming's most popular slot ever, Thunderstruck (both versions) while the video poker section contains single and multi-hand versions of Deuces Wild, Double Bonus, Jacks Or better and Joker Poker among others.

Major Tom's new casino offers around 200 more niche games via the download-version of the casino but also has the same Instant Play product as Lucky247. Both casinos come with Microgaming's new mobile games product "GO" aswell.

The mobile experience is limited to Blackjack, Roulette, Jacks Or better video poker and some of Microgaming's more popular slots like Thunderstruck, Avalon and Mega Moolah but new games are being launched each month. For more information on the new mobile casino from Lucky247, check out the review conducted by AZOC in November 2012.
