This article supercedes the news item: New Casinos 2013

November: Trada Casino, has re-opened it's doors with a Quickfire platform providing a number of high profile Microgaming casino games. White the max weekly cashout is 10k, the site has a prestigious Isle Of Man licence and established a good track record before the switch. Betting limits aren't that high but payouts are prompt.

Although already offering a few Microgaming games, Leo Vegas have expanded their portfolio of Microgaming, IGT and Net Ent slots adding Immortal Romance, Finer Reels and Break Da Bank Again.

September: The oddly-title sister casino to BetAt called "Slotty Vegas" now operates a Quickfire platform with all the major Microgaming slots (alongside Net Ent games). betAt has a good rep so no reason to suspect that Slotty Vegas won't do a good job too.

August: Copenhagen's world-renowned Tivoli Gardens has opened the globally accessible Tivoli online casino offering an abridged selection of Microgaming casino games alongside games by Net Entertainment, all in no-download 'Instant Play' (Microgaming's "Quickfire") format.

Although you may not strictly classify this as a new Microgaming casino since they have been online since 2005, Casino Room has recently complemented it's portfolio of Net Ent games with an expanded range of newer Microgaming slots, including Jurassic Park, alongside some popular land-based Aristocrat titles like Choy Sun Doa and Where's The Gold.

July: Lucky247 Casino has added a new Microgaming download casino to complement it's Flash Instant Play offering with over 550 games.

November 2013 saw the launch of another new dedicated Microgaming casino, Major Tom which was run by Club Red Gaming and carries both the download and Instant Play version of Microgaming's software. The casino has subsequently been taken over in May 2014 by Digimedia.

Mid-2013 saw a relaunch of Digimedia's Euro Palace casino which has pretty much flown under the radar since 2010. It now consists of Microgaming download and 'Instant Play' casinos with separate Live dealer offering plus a Microgaming-powered mobile casino creating a comprehensive product, now operated by the well-regarded Fortune Lounge group.

The first new Microgaming casino to appear in 2013 was Lucky 247. Licenced in Malta and operated by Play Central Ltd, the casino offers a combination of popular Microgaming casino games for PC & Mac alongside Microgaming's GO mobile product compatible with iPads, iPhones and Android devices.

The year also saw a number of operators integrate Microgaming games via the Quickfire "Instant Play" platform. A few of these developed huge games offerings and build decent reputations, most notably Tropezia Palace, the intriguingly named Guts plus the very popular Redbet and TV-advertised BGO operations.

More Information

Unlike Major Tom, Lucky247's dedicated Microgaming casino is entirely based on the Instant Play product, containing some 300 games and including many of their popular slot games, a large selection of table games and several variants of video poker. These games include Multi-hand Blackjack, Atlantic City Blackjack, several variations of Roulette and Baccarat 1-100 among others.

Within the slots suite, players will find the Dark Knight slot, 2014's flagship games Avalon 2 and Terminator 2, Playboy, Tombraider and Microgaming's most popular slot ever, Thunderstruck (both versions) while the video poker section contains single and multi-hand versions of Deuces Wild, Double Bonus, Jacks Or better and Joker Poker among others.

Major Tom's new casino offers around 200 more niche games via the download-version of the casino but also has the same Instant Play product as Lucky247. Both casinos come with Microgaming's new mobile games product "GO" aswell.

The mobile experience is limited to Blackjack, Roulette, Jacks Or better video poker and some of Microgaming's more popular slots like Thunderstruck, Avalon and Mega Moolah but new games are being launched each month. For more information on the new mobile casino from Lucky247, check out the review conducted by AZOC in November 2012.
