Mobile technology supplier launches new product under 10Bet brand
Mobile gambling solutions provider Spin3, a Microgaming associate, has entered the sports betting sector with a new app branded SpinSport, described as a pure native app specifically designed for leading mobile devices including iPhone, iPod and iPad.
The SpinSport app is powered by an advanced sportsbook engine from Sports Betting Tech, and will first launch under the 10Bet
brand on the Apple App store later in Q1 2011.
A company spokesman said that SpinSport will be available as a white label product to existing online sportsbooks wanting to extend customer offerings to mobile, as well as to online and mobile e-gaming operators keen to provide their punters with a mobile sports betting platform. Spin 3 already powers the mobile offerings for a number of casinos on AZOC's Microgaming casino list
including Ladbrokes Casino
The new app includes smart personalisation based on the player's betting history, and full banking and cashier functionality. The gaming experience is further enhanced with quick navigation, live betting across a wide range of sporting events and GPS location to ensure players are wagering from an authorised location.
Matti Zinder, head of Spin3, said the company has applied its considerable experience in mobile handset technology, mobile casino games
development and design, usability and back-office technology in the development of SpinSport. "As a native iOS app, playable on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, SpinSport delivers the most advanced user experience available; a crucial advantage in this highly competitive and fast growing market," he claimed.
"The rapid increase in the use of smartphones has led to amazing growth in mobile sports betting. Juniper Research recently estimated that mobile betting represented more than 75% of mobile gaming activity," Zinder added. "Not only is there a big opportunity in sports betting, the move to mobile is a natural evolution and extension for any e-gaming company".
Ron Zlluf, marketing director of Sports Betting Tech, agreed, saying: "Mobile sports betting is the fastest growing mobile channel globally. This growth, along with an unprecedented rise and mass market adoption of smartphones, means that it was crucial for us to deliver a cutting-edge mobile sportsbook product to our white labels. We chose to partner with Spin3 because its market leading services and constantly evolving technologies."
