Another bid for online gaming and solutions provider

A speculative report in the Israeli Press claims that major Playtech shareholder Teddy Sagi has made a bid of 200 million for a controlling stake in 888 Holdings Plc.

The reported bid follows closely behind another made by Ladbrokes Plc for 240 million.

Andrew Benbow, 888 spokesperson declined to comment on the report.

888 use their own casino software at present and should a deal be concluded there will undoubtedly be speculation as to whether 888 casino contunues using their own software or whether it would continue to use the current platform and integrate games from the Playtech roster.

For casinos that currently use Playtech software or for more information on 888 casino itself, check out the list of online casinos at AZOC.
