Following Customer Complaint

The UK's Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) have banned an email campaign from online casino and bingo company Jackpotjoy after a customer who took the offer up reported it to them as being misleading. When existing Jackpotjoy Bingo customers referred a friend to join the site, a promotional email was sent out which said:

Plus addicted gamblers cost the casino a further fine

The Showboat Casino Hotel in Atlantic City has been fined $20,000 for being found guilty of facilitating underage gambling on their premises, and a further $2,315 has been confiscated from them after they allowed people from New Jersey's self-exclusion register to gamble at their casino.
